HATHA YOGA TEACHER

Style & Passions

Kay is a 200 RYT Yoga Teacher based in Michigan, US.

Her style of yoga is Hatha-based, perfect for beginners who are unsure of where to start. Kay's approach combines breath with controlled body movement, making it accessible for all students, regardless of their flexibility or experience. She emphasizes that yoga is not about contorting oneself into pretzel-like shapes but rather embracing one's own uniqueness. Modifications are always encouraged, and the focus is on finding the flow that feels right for each individual.

Passionate about spiritual, physical, and mental wellness, Kay made a transition from a career in Emergency medicine to a more holistic path. She now works as a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, and health and wellness life coach—a dream job that allows her to fulfill her purpose of helping others be their true authentic selves.

One of Kay's favorite asanas is Wild Thing. She finds it empowering to open up, show her heart and belly to the world, and maintain balance and strength in that pose.

As a mother raising two incredible girls, Kay understands the chaos that parenting can bring. She teaches her children the value of peace and stillness, both on and off the mat. Even her toddler has her own little yoga mat, which Kay is absolutely obsessed with.

Join Kay on the mat as she guides you through a Hatha-based practice, embracing your unique journey and finding peace within. Let her passion for wellness and her dedication to authenticity inspire you on your own path of self-discovery.
