Service Description
Tune in on Shreyas Yin Yoga classes every Monday (6pm us central time zone). Passive poses will be held while seated or laying down. Because gravity helps support the body, poses can be held longer, allowing mind and body to calm. All Levels Welcome. Modifications Encouraged. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues of the body, including the fascia, ligaments, and joints. This practice involves holding poses for longer periods of time, typically 1-3 minutes or more, with the support of props such as blankets, blocks, and bolsters. The longer holds and gentle pressure help to stimulate the flow of energy through the body, release tension, and increase flexibility.
