Welcome to Alison's Iyengar and Hatha fusion class, a specially designed practice perfect for beginners or those looking to reinvigorate their yoga journey. In this class, we will introduce you to a variety of foundational Iyengar and Hatha Yoga poses, prioritizing correct alignment and mindful movement. Our skilled instructors will guide you through a safe and supportive practice, allowing you to develop strength, flexibility, and balance at your own pace. By engaging in this fusion of styles, you will cultivate a heightened awareness of your body and breath, experiencing a profound sense of calm and relaxation throughout your practice. It's important to note that this class welcomes individuals of all body types and fitness levels, with no prior yoga experience required. While Iyengar yoga traditionally incorporates the use of props such as blocks, straps, and blankets to aid in achieving optimal alignment, our classes are guided without props (though they can be used if desired).
